Even more room for collaboration

On March 30, the Lufthansa Group CleanTech Hub and Lufthansa Technik opened a new co-working space at Hamburg’s ZAL Center of Applied Aeronautical Research of whom Lufthansa Technik is one of the founding members. The creative and collaborative environment will even more closely connect multi-disciplinary aerospace research and clean aviation start-ups with the Lufthansa Group’s sustainability experts in order to push forward new technologies for a more eco-friendly and net carbon neutral aviation of the future.

The CleanTech Hub combines our airline expertise with impulses and partnerships from the global start-up, business and science scene. More than 80 projects already exist within the Lufthansa Group. The spectrum of topics ranges from sustainable aviation fuels, retrofits, and digital solutions to circular economy and the mobility of the future.
